  • Only the command channel leader possessing the entry item 'Pontus Stone' can apply for admission through the Heart of Tsunami NPC.

  • Entrance item 'Pontus Stone' can be obtained by killing Field Boss 'Cyrax'.

  • Fafurion Raid can be attacked for 1 hour after the field boss 'Cyrax' is defeated, and it will be initialized if the attack fails after that time.

  • The Fafurion Raid consists of 7 levels of difficulty and starts with 4 basic steps.

  • If a raid succeeds, it is possible to select a level of difficulty higher than the current level in the next cycle. If it does not progress for a certain period or fails, the difficulty level decreases by one level.

  • Fafurion changes appearance and combat mode according to the level of his anger.

 

  • New Field Boss 'Cyrax' was added

Hunting Zone Changes

  • Field of Silence/Whispers has been changed as follows:

    • The difficulty of monsters in the Field of Silence has been adjusted to level 106 and higher

    • The difficulty of monsters in the Field of Whispers has been adjusted to level 108 and higher

    • Rewards have been adjusted based on the new difficulty.

    • Players can now move to hunting zones through the Gatekeeper in Heine.

    • Changed the levels and item rewards of the six bosses placed in Field of Silence/Whispers.

  • Kartia’s Labyrinth (Solo) Dungeon

    • Improved the three solo instance zones of Kartia's Labyrinth.

    • Increased the amount of XP and SP gained for defeating the dungeon boss and changed it so that vitality/boost items will have an effect inside the dungeon.

    • Changed the system so that players no longer lose their potential XP and SP rewards due to the contribution of allied NPCs.

  • We removed 115 field raid boses that were below level 85.

  • Limit Barrier now instantly triggers when a level 100+ field raid boss spawns.

    • The existing Limit Barrier that is triggered when HP is at 90%, 60%, and 30% remains the same. 

    • Fixed an issue where Limit Barrier sometimes would not work properly.

  • Changed the loot table for Rebel Commander

  • Added Gatekeeper Mintia to Elven Village. 

  • The Gatekeeper's teleport destination, Isle of Souls Harbor has been changed to Kamael Village.

  • Players can access Isle of Souls Harbor by clicking the ‘Teleport to hunting zones or other areas’ option in Kamael Village.

  • Changed Tower of Insolence, so that Lazearth' Warriors will no longer spawn.

  • Reduced the P. Atk and M. Atk. of Field Raid Monsters.

  • Changed the loot table of Field Raid Monsters.

  • Changed the item list of Black Cat that can be exchanged for Giant Monster's Marks.

  • You can upgrade an existing R99 Blessed Amaranthine weapon to a Krishna weapon.

    • You can upgrade through the Ferris NPC, the chief blacksmith of the town of Aden.

    • The fee to upgrade Blessed Amaranthine Weapons to Krishna requires a certain amount of Crystal (R-grade), Gemstone (R-grade), Crystal of Determination, and Adena.

    • Crystal of Determination can only be acquired by crystalizing weapons 

    • You can upgrade only from +7 enchant, and when you upgrade, your enchant value will decrease by -2.

  • Note: You can exchange a +10 Dark/Bloody Amaranthine Weapon through Ferris for a +8 Bloody/Dark Krishna weapon (Stage 2). The fees to upgrade a +10 Dark/Bloody weapon requires Gemstones (R-grade), Elcyum, and Adena. The amount of materials required will increase depending on the enchant level.

 

  • Normal R110 Weapons can be upgraded three times through the Blacksmith of Mammon NPC.

  • You can upgrade enchanted Blessed Eternal Armor (R99) to Leviathan armor (R110).

    • You can upgrade through the Ferris NPC, the chief blacksmith of the town of Aden.

    • The fee to upgrade Blessed Eternal armor to Leviathan requires a certain amount of Crystal (R-grade), Gemstone (R-grade), Crystal of Protection, and Adena.

    • Crystal of Protection can only be acquired by crystalizing armor

    • You can only upgrade when Blessed Eternal armor has been enchanted to +6 or higher and the enchant value will decrease by -1 when upgraded.

  • Note: If you possess an enchanted Dark/Bloody Eternal Armor set and wish to acquire the Leviathan armor set, then you will have to extract the Dark/Bloody Armor Enhancement Stones from the armor set through the Blacksmith of Mammon NPC.

 

  • After you have downgraded back to Blessed Eternal Armor and have the set enchanted to +6, then you can upgrade to normal Leviathan R110 armor. Normal R110 Leviathan armor can be further upgraded through the Blacksmith of Mammon to Enchanted Leviathan, then Dark/Bloody Leviathan, and then finally to Limited Leviathan.

 

  • Normal R110 Armors can be upgraded three times through the Blacksmith of Mammon NPC.

Lineage 2 Fafurion Cursed Swords

Refined the Cursed Sword system 

  • The ownership of the existing Demonic Sword Zariche and Blood Sword Akamanah will be reset.

 

Cursed Sword Creation

  • The Cursed Swords are created from 6:00 PM Server Time every Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and the rewards are given to the final owner at 11:59 PM Server Time.  

  • If a monster or PC with level 95 or higher is killed in the field, Demonic Sword Zariche or Blood Sword Akamanah is created and dropped onto the world.  

  • Only one Demonic Sword Zariche and Blood Sword Akamanah each exist in the world. 

  • If the Cursed Sword is not picked up for 10 minutes after it is dropped, the sword vanishes and is dropped in the world. 

  • The location of the Cursed Sword can be checked on the map (Alt+M) once it is created. 

    • If the character possessing a cursed sword has logged out, then the location of the item in question is not displayed.

  • If you do not kill a player character within 2 hours, the Cursed Sword vanishes. 

  • If the owner of Zariche acquires Akamanah, Akamanah vanishes and dropped again in the world (Same of the opposite case).

 

Cursed Sword Rewards

  • The following rewards will be awarded to the final Cursed Sword owner at 11:59 PM Server Time

    • The final owner will receive 5 billion Adena as the fixed reward

    • Additional rewards will be awarded depending on the buff level of Demonic Sword Zariche or Blood Sword Akamanah at the end

    • A maximum of 10 billion Adena can be awarded, together with the fixed reward

Collecting a Cursed Sword

  • If you collect the Cursed Sword dropped on the ground, the appearance of your weapon, armor and cloak are changed to Demonic Sword Zariche or Blood Sword Akamanah.  

  • Your character name is changed to Demonic Sword Zariche or Blood Sword Akamanah.  

  • Even while possessing a Cursed Sword, you can use the class skills that you originally acquired.

  • The owner of the Cursed Sword cannot participate in Ceremony of Chaos/Dimensional Server content/Olympiad. 

  • A hero can also acquire a Cursed Sword. 

  • The owner of the Cursed Sword can check the information by using the /cursedsword command in the chat.

  • If you acquire the Cursed Sword, you receive a buff whose level increases based on the Kill Point system. 

    • Buff name: Demonic Sword Zariche and Blood Sword Akamanah

    • Level: 1 – 5
  • If the owner of the Cursed Sword kills a normal character excluding characters below level 20 and their clan members, the owner receives points based on the level of killed character. 

  • Killing the owner of another Cursed Sword gives you 1000 points. 

  • If the Cursed Sword is dropped/vanished/removed, the Kill Point is reset to 0. 

 

Cursed Sword Combat

  • After the update, you can be in a party with the owner of a Cursed Sword. 

  • The owner of the Cursed Sword cannot attack characters below level 20. 

    • However, characters below level 20 can attack the owner of the Cursed Sword.

  • If the owner of the Cursed Sword strikes another character including heroes, CP will become 0. 

    • It must be a direct hit instead of magic/physical skills. 

    • If a hero strikes the owner of the Cursed Sword, the CP of the owner becomes 0 (It must be a direct hit instead of magic/physical skills). 

  • The battle between the owner of the Cursed Sword and other characters has no XP drop, item drop, karma increase, and PK penalty. 

  • If you are killed by the owner of the Cursed Sword, the Prison of Souls and Scar of Soul skills are applied. 

    • The Scar of Soul lasts for 2 minutes 10 seconds.  

    • The Scar of Soul disappears after the duration even if the Prison of Souls is removed within 2 minutes.

Zariche Treasure Chest/Akamanah Treasure Chest and the Priest of Purification

  • The treasure chest and the Priest of Purification for each Cursed Sword are placed near the Sea of Spores.  

    • The location of the Cursed Sword can be checked on the map (Alt+M) once it is created. 

  • The Priest of Purification can attack and damage only the cursed sword possessing character. (Other characters cannot do damage)       

  • If each Treasure Chest of the Cursed Sword is destroyed, the ownership is lost and the sword is dropped again in the world.  

  • Between 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM, each Cursed Sword treasure chest and the Priest of Purification are petrified according to the state of the owner of the Cursed Sword. 

    • If the owner of the Cursed Sword stays in a peace zone more than 10 minutes or 30 minutes passed after logging out, petrifaction is removed.

    • Other than that, the petrifaction state remains.

  • Between 11:30 PM until 11:50 PM, petrifaction is removed regardless of the state of the owner of the Cursed Sword. 

    • If petrifaction on the treasure chest of each Cursed Sword is removed, the world message is displayed notifying that petrifaction is removed. 

  • The area where each cursed treasure chest and the Priest of Purification are placed is set as a battle zone. 

    • The system message is displayed when entering a battle zone. 

    • You do not drop items and Death Penalty is not applied even after being killed.

UI & Other Changes

Automated Hunting System

  • A new UI has been added to automate various game functions to increase hunting efficiency

  • Added an Auto Consumable Use feature.

    • Added an exclusive slot which automatically uses certain consumables.

    • Added [Auto Use Available] to the item tooltip for consumables available for Auto Use.

    • Drag an Auto Use consumable to the Automated Hunting UI inventory or press the View Inventory button on the right bottom of the UI window.

    • Right-click a consumable assigned to the exclusive slot to set the option for each consumable or press the Enable/Disable All Auto Use to toggle the overall auto setting.

  • Added the Auto Use Next Target/Macro feature.

    • Added an exclusive slot for macros which automatically selects the next target and uses them together.

    • Press the right bottom of the target icon to toggle Auto Target Close/Ranged.

    • Press the right bottom of the macro icon to display the macro window and drag a macro for Auto Use to assign it.

    • You can set the macro by adding only skills that are useful to the player instead of typing the command, [/Next Target].

    • If only the next target is automated without registering a macro, the [/Attack] action is supported by default.

    • The next target is automatically selected based on the Next Target setting rule in the Options.

    • If the selected target is a monster, the next target is selected when the target is killed.

    • If the selected target is a PC/NPC, the target is not changed.

  • Added the Auto Pickup feature

    • The Auto Pickup feature only works when the Auto Next Target feature is enabled.

  • Added the Auto Skill Use feature

    • Added the Auto Use feature to Enchant skills that can be used for yourself and your servitors.

    • i.e. Feral Bear Cry and Greater Servitor Haste

    • Skills available for Auto Use are displayed with a green cycle symbol on the top left corner of the skill.

    • Assign an Auto Use skill to a shortcut and right-click to enable/disable the Auto Use setting.

    • The Auto Use skills are used when there is no buff with the same effect or the level is lower. If you have a buff with the same effect, it is automatically re-used when the remaining duration 3 seconds or level.

    • If the resources (ex: Spirit Ore) for the skill are depleted, the auto skill is disabled.

  • The Adventurer Helper NPC will now grant free buffs to characters who are level 99 and below


Quests tab

  • Added the Quest Info tab to the World Information tab of the World Map UI.

  • Sealed items are no longer visible in the sell list of NPCs when players are exchanging or selling their items. 

 

  • Changed the party UI as follows:

    • Increased the size of party members’ class icon.

    • Changed the party UI so that players can check the party member they’re currently targeting.

    • When a player assists a party member by right-clicking from the party UI, an assist status icon is displayed for 1 second.

    • Now the portraits of dead party members are greyed out.

    • Changed the party UI so that now party members’ Servitors cannot be selected.

 

  • Changed the result item tooltip of the equipment upgrade UI to display the enchant value.

  • Changed the system so that players who equip gear while the Artifact Book window is displayed in the inventory window will be automatically redirected back to the Equip UI.

  • Changed so that XP value can be displayed down to four decimal points.

  • Slightly increased the fee for removing Soul Crystals from A, S, S80 grade weapons.

  • Lowered the quantity of Mentee's Mark rewards from Mentees.

  • Changed the conditions for stopping macros.

Lineage 2 Fafurion Teleport UI

  • Completely revamped the entire Teleport system (Fast Travel)

    • You can now teleport to any town or hunting zone using the teleport notification icon 

    • The same teleportation interface will now appear when you talk with a town Gatekeeper

    • There are no teleportation fees for characters under level 99. You will be required to pay Adena for teleportation at level 100 and higher.

    • Teleportation cannot be used when Fishing, Feared, debuffed with No Return, or in a Transformation state.

    • Dimension Keeper Minion NPCs have been removed.

    • Removed the Superion travel feature of NPC Kekropus in the Town of Giran and the Hellbound travel feature of the Warp Gate in Heine.

  • Changed the default setting for Next Target to Monsters in the Gameplay of the Options menu.

  • Improved the game screen brightness adjustment feature.

    • Changed the screen brightness adjustment system to the slide format. The detailed screen brightness adjustment is possible.

    • Screen brightness only affects the game screen and does not affect any other screen

  • Added the class transfer UI window to be displayed when a character is available for class transfer.

  • Added the Counterattack function to the UI

    • During PvP, you can easily identify and target another player who attacked you.

    • When you receive an attack from another player, the Counterattack icon is enabled.

    • The Counterattack icon disappears after the target is killed or leaves the area or after a certain amount of time passes.

    • Added the Counterattack action to the basic action (/counterattack)

  • Added the feature to view the information on being hit right before the character is killed

    • You can view up to 30 damage hits received right before being killed.

    • The death info can be checked in the popup window displayed when being killed.

  • Resetting a subclass through Raina gives you Paulina’s Equipment Set (R-grade) - Subclass Change.

    • Using Paulina’s Equipment Set (R-grade) - Subclass Change gives you Paulina Armor Pack (R-grade) and a Weapon suitable for the class.

    • Using Paulina’s Equipment Set (R-grade) when the subclass is reset does not give Soulshots and Blessed Spiritshots.

    • Creating a new subclass gives you Paulina’s Equipment Set (R-grade) including Soulshots and Blessed Spiritshots.

 

  • The frequency of the Keucereus Alliance Base Defense Battle has been changed as follows.
